'Family Treasures' Layout {Webster's Pages Mix & Match & Scraplift the DT Challenges}

Hi there everyone!  School holidays are in progress & it's
pretty tough - put it that way LOL!  There is SO MUCH
noise, but it's all happy noise - even if it does make it
very difficult to concentrate!!

This is a layout I made for the two challenges that are currently
running at Webster's Pages.
You can read all about the first challenge HERE at Inspire Me
- I think it is closing around about the middle of this month.
 It is a scraplifting challenge.

The requirement is to scraplift a layout/style of one
of the Websters Pages Design Team.  Well with a team
of superstars I was spoilt for choice!

I chose this layout by Iris Babao Uy for my inspiration.
I love her work and have admired it for many years.

The other challenge, running concurrently over
on their blog, asks you to combine collections HERE.

I had such fun adding so many little bits and pieces
of Webster's Pages products from NINE different
collections, some of them dating back YEARS!

Their very latest collections are still en route to me but
as their collections are all timeless and all co-ordinate
I had no problem creating with a huge mix of product.

I also used their laces, trims & bling as well as adding Liquid Pearls from Ranger.

The 2 diamond shaped bling brads above are the only item,
apart from the mediums and cardstock base, that are not
from Webster's Pages.

I started off by misting my layout in 3 contrasting
colours, Blue, Pink & Yellow.  Then I did some stamping
in a brighter yellow & some masking in Grey
{Prima Old Road} My absolute favourite ink EVER!

2. You must upload your layout to the gallery at InspireME on or before midnight EST on October 18th. Your layout title must include the words "September Mix & Match Challenge"
3. Once you've done that, come back to THIS POST and comment with a link to your layout. The winner will receive the collection kit of her choice.
And...Go HERE to find out who won last month's TRENDY Challenge! If you're the winner, email me at cwalsh{at}websterspages{dot}com so I can send you your prize!

The Inspire Me Community Challenge
This month, we decided to switch things up a bit. Rather than bringing on a guest designer to lift, the team lifted each other!! We may be a bit biased but we think we have the greatest team around. So, each girl lifted another on the team. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the process of trying out someone else’s style. We hope you enjoy these pages as much as we enjoyed making them!!

Are you as inspired as we are? Lifting someone else’s work is a great way to jump start your own creativity! We’d love to see what YOU come up with. Play along with us by lifting any DT layout. It can be one of these or any other. And be sure to share your work here so we can all be inspired.

We hope you enjoy these special layouts this month!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
I have no idea whether or not you are allowed to combine
challenges so, if I had to choose just one challenge to play
along with at Webster's with this layout - it would be the
Mix & Match Challenge as I'm so pleased I managed to
combine a record NINE collections!!
