Scrapbook Kits with Jules October Inspiration Challenge {Eleven in 2011 Layout}

At Scrapbook Kits with Jules we have a monthly sketch contest & a monthly inspiration challenge going on each & every month - with an awesome RAK giveaway for both of them, if there are 5 or more contestants, so come along & help us make it awesome by uploading your creations based on either this sketch

or inspired by this picture/colour-scheme.
As you can see I went with the Inspiration Challenge.

I started by inking my paper through my new Crafter's Workshop 12" chicken-wire stencil.

Then I dropped some mist splatters on by removing the lid complete with suction pipe & tapping on top of it with my finger nail.

Lastly I inked up my Jenni Bowlin butterfly stamp (for the first time I may add!) & stamped that a few times across the page.

I grounded my photographs on a couple of strips of printed paper - cut inversely in as one would cut a ribbon - in a V shape - I've seen this around online & love the look it creates.

I repeated the photo - as is another popular trend right now - and I embellished one of the photos around the edge using the last of my Prima pearl-encrusted lace.

All papers & chipboard elements are from the new Crate Paper collection "Random", just added in a bit of my favourite brown polka-dot ribbon there & some thickers that I nail-varnished in jade!

She goes with the years - a millenium baby - I always tell her that makes her "very special" & I see her growing a couple of inches every time I tell her!

I embellished simply with border stickers & chipboard elements from the same line.

OH wow, what a gorgeous layout with beautiful background paper, who needs pattern paper now?

re-blogger issue
I was just blog surfing and leaving comments for others and then a message show up, saying that I am no longer to be able to log in, they also claimed that they took this step for those blogs that wasn't active since 2007 (same thing happened to Julie Tucker, mine happened 5 minutes after I read her blog post about her encounter), and they need me to type in a phone number so they could send a code for me to reactive my account, this is all they want, they are fishing all the information they can get from us. Google mail has been sending that message and asked me to have a phone number on record just in case I cannot retrieve my emails, I always skip that step but now they finally got me. Yep, it didn't take long for the blog to come back up, once I type in my phone number, they sent a code to that number, i type in the code in the box provided, everything resumed. I just think they are scammer, trying to get as much information from us as possible.
