My week in Review (and a chuckle...)

IRONY AT IT'S BEST

90 people get the Swine Flu and everybody wants to wear a mask.
A million people have AIDS and no one wants to wear a condom.

So there's the chuckle...

Now for the week...

Cami & Reilly made it into the chess team & have their first tournament coming up soon.

Cami had a bingo night at school tonight - makes her sound like an old age pensioner!

Reilly made it back into the A class for maths & got 80% for an Afrikaans test. (formerly his worst subject).

Jack made KZN A Hockey High Performance Talent Squad (cool name...nothing like giving them big egos or anything...)

Chelsea turned 16 - not very sweet at present - and has now come out in an allergic skin reaction all over her body & looks like she has been beaten senseless. She has welts all over her body & lips that rival Angelina's. She's out tonight & I'm just waiting for the call to rush her off to casualty if the situation worsens. She got an anti-histamine jab this morning & improved significantly but had started swelling up again by this evening. She has a course of 44 anti-histamine tablets that have to be taken 6 at a time. She has a real phobia about taking pills & has taken hardly any in her life - now she really has no choice - if her throat swells up we'll be in the ER tonight.

I have been editing & printing photos by the dozen & looking for the right ones for my upcoming projects. Weather has turned cold now & I am freezing! As a result I seem to be starving all the time. Just off for a snack...

So sorry to hear about Chel - not a great start to her 16th year!
Please post about how the chess tournament turned out - looking forward to hearing how they enjoyed themselves.

you always seem to pack so much into your week. Hope Chelsea gets better & you find out what she is allergic to - poor 16 year old!! not the best thing to remember.
Have to admit the weather is definately changing & its dark early morning too. I love winter though perfect blue crispy skies. Have a great weekend.
